Approaching Place: Part Two

Changing Place (2015) is also a photographic series created in response to John Szarkowski's book "The Photographer's Eye" (1966). Within this particular series, the concept of time and its representation is significant. For example, from the moment when the camera's shutter is released to when the exposure finishes, that brief (or long) lapse of time cannot be replicated in the same manner again. The idea of how people can temporarily impact upon a location is highlighted through active intervention with the environment where these images are created.
